Welcome to my nail story

Hello, my name is Darcey and I am finally going to be a nail tech, I have been interested in being a nail tech for years and it is finally my time to be what I want to be when I am a grown up. I started nail school at Color My Nails School of Nail Technology in Midvale, Utah on December 4th 2013.

I am in school full time so I can complete the program in 2 months and a week. It has been a blast so far and I love the progress I am making everyday. When I first started school I was worried I was in the wrong field. We practiced painting with red polish and it was scary. After a month and a half red polish is not my nightmare any longer.

It was plain black so I had to dress it up. Here is my nail tech tote. nailbag3
I have been working hard to get a business plan, workbook finished, mock tests and improving my nails. Below are some of the nails I have done to date.

School has not been all work, we have had Pedicures and Pizza day, Bagels and Bingo and Cookie Art.

The best part of school so far is the people. I love our clients, I have become good friends with Bets, she is a riot and we have lunch dates now. I think I will love the relationships I make more than anything. Until Next time, Get TIPSy, with Darcey!
